Contracts and Responsibilities

RentACleaner.org.uk acts only as a platform for connecting individuals seeking cleaning services with independent cleaners. We do not employ any cleaners nor do we provide any cleaning services. The contract for cleaning services is solely between you and the independent cleaner, and RentACleaner.org.uk is not a party to such contract.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the cleaner you hire is qualified, reliable and trustworthy. We do not guarantee the quality, suitability or reliability of the cleaners listed on our website. We also do not screen or verify the credentials of the cleaners, and we do not take responsibility for any actions, omissions, or damages caused by the cleaners.

By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Payment
a. When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your property, including the type of cleaning service required, the size of the property, and any specific instructions or requests.
b. The price of the cleaning service will be specified during the booking process and may vary depending on the size and type of property, as well as any additional services requested.
c. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We accept payment by credit or debit card, and all payments are processed securely through our website.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
a. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a booking, you must notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. Any cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service price.
b. If our cleaners are unable to access your property or are turned away at the time of the scheduled service, you will be charged the full service price.
3. Liability and Insurance
a. Our cleaners are insured for liability and property damage. In the rare event that there is any damage or loss caused by our cleaners, rentacleaner.org.uk will endeavor to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
b. If you sustain any damage or loss while using our cleaners, it is important that you inform us within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in your claim being rejected.
c. Rentacleaner.org.uk will not be held responsible for any damage or loss if you have not followed our guidelines for use, or if the damage or loss is a result of factors outside of our control.

4. Cancellation Policy
a. If you wish to cancel your cleaning appointment, you must inform us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
b. If you cancel your cleaning appointment less than 48 hours in advance, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
c. If you cancel your cleaning appointment on the day of service, or if our cleaners are unable to gain access to the property, a full cleaning fee will still be charged.
